Group VisitsWe welcome group visits to Occombe Farm, as well as to our other Trust sites at the Seashore Centre, Goodrington Sands; Cockington Country Park; and Berry Head National Nature Reserve.Here at Occombe we can offer an exciting, innovative and different experience that focuses on food, farming and the countryside. Occombe is a fully working 150 acre organic farm centred on a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
We have the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge and have developed a package of activities for groups visiting the farm and nature reserve but we are also able to tailor activities to your needs. We can also cater for adult groups who are interested in a talk, walk and lunch in the Bakehouse Cafe.

A new low carbon straw bale Education Centre was constructed by students from South Devon College in 2008 and is the base for visiting groups - it has a suite of 10 PCs with Broadband Internet access and a link to the digital network of wildlife cameras around the farm. The centre is also equipped with a kitchen facilities which can be used for a wide range of food-related activities, such as grinding flour and making bread, which is a core activity for visiting school groups.
