Occombe Beer Festival

  Welcome to Occombe's 5th Beer Festival - a two day event featuring around 60 real ales from across the Westcountry, local ciders and perry. There will also be a Pimm's Bar, live music from local bands, a BBQ and hog roast.

The Bands
Friday 4 June - Duke Johnson & the Scorchers
Five-piece classic rock band playing music through the decades to the present day. Hear them perform here
Saturday 5 June - Smith, Reece & Millan
Three musicians playing a collage of folk, country, Celtic and fiddle-playing pop!
Saturday 5 June - Three Bags Full
Three-piece band playing a mix of well known music through the ages, from artists including the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and Fleetwood Mac to the Zutons, White Stripes, Jack Johnson and Paulo Nutini. Hear them perform here
Saturday 5 June - Soul Funktion
One of the South West's premier soul bands, based in South Devon. 10-piece high energy performances of soul and motown hits. Hear them perform here
Tickets
Tickets will be available in advance until 2 June online and in Occombe Farm Shop up to the event, allowing you to skip the main admissions queue at the event.
A large number of tickets will be available on the gate too. When we reach our maximum capacity we will have to turn people away, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

How to Find Us
By Car

By Bus
Two free shuttle buses will run from The Strand, Torquay and from Paignton Bus Station on Friday and Saturday evening from 5pm leaving approx every 20 minutes. During Saturday daytime the usual 60/61 bus service runs from Torquay and Paignton - timetable details here
By Taxi
If you are arriving or leaving by taxi, please ask that they drop you off or collect you from our dedicated taxi waiting area inside the main car park off Preston Down Road. Look out for the taxi notice on the yellow AA sign at the approach.
Children
Children under the age of 18 will be permitted entry, if accompanied by a responsible adult. All visitors who appear under the age of 21 will need to show proof of age when buying tokens - please ensure you have this with you.
Return Entry
If you come to Occombe Beer Festival on Friday 4 June please bring back your wristband and glass to gain return entry at a discounted rate on Saturday 5 June - return festival entry is £2.50 and you will be given a new wristband for the second day.
Please Note
This is a fundraising event and we ask that you do not bring your own alcohol onto the site. We reserve the right to refuse entry or ask you to leave if these conditions are not met.

         Occombe Beer Festival is a fundraising event, run in aid of Torbay Coast & Countryside Trust (registered charity no. 1077561). All profits from the festival are ploughed back into the Trust's work across Torbay, looking after some of our most important wildlife, countryside and heritage sites.
