Basket making Workshop at Occombe Farm
11th November 2009
The traditional skill of basket weaving was taught at Occombe Farm this weekend by tutor Hilary Burns. The course was thoroughly enjoyed by all of the participants who each left with their own unique basket which they had hand-crafted during the two day workshop using brown Somerset willows and selected coloured bark.
We hope to run more workshops with Hilary at Occombe next year...
